Agriculture today is one of the most dynamic sectors of the economy of the Hanta-Mansia Autonomous Region, Southra. The growth rate for certain agricultural products is tens of per cent. Farmers are most active and are supported by the administration of the Hanta-Mansia Autonomous Region, Southra.
In the Hanta-Mansia Autonomous Region-Southern economy, the share of agriculture is low: oil and gas production has been the main source of the region ' s budget for many years. Moreover, the full development of agriculture in the South is not possible for objective reasons. A large part of the area is covered by forests, and the vegetation period is not sufficient for most agricultural crops. In such latitudes, there is no open crop in the world. Even during the Soviet period when crop production in the northern regions was in fact saturated, and its development was often contrary to economic feasibility, the total cultivation area in the South was not more than 8,000 ha, representing a percentage of the total area. However, South-Earth agriculture has evolved in recent years and has been quite successful, with much of the attention given by the district government to the development of the sector. This is partly due to the need to maintain the traditional fisheries of indigenous peoples in the district. Such fishing is, of course, reindeer herding.
Moreover, under the natural conditions of the South, traditional livestock could be developed, especially since the current level of technology and technology allowed it to be economically successful. In addition, the Siberian specificity allows the development of non-traditional agroprom sectors such as the harvesting and processing of dicoros, as well as cellular beasts.
