Decree No. 1099 of 7 September 2010 of the President of the Russian Federation on measures to improve the State Award System of the Russian Federation State Agricultural Awards of the Russian Federation♪
The State Award System of the Russian Federation consists of:
1. The Medal for Agricultural Work.
The Medal of Agricultural Labour is awarded to citizens for agricultural merit and a significant contribution to agro-industrial development, training, research and other activities aimed at improving agricultural productivity.
The award of the Medal for Agricultural Labour is generally made subject to the presence of the honourable agricultural worker of the Russian Federation in the award.
Foreign citizens who produce agricultural products in the Russian Federation may also be rewarded for special merit in development agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation Federation.
2. Honorary title of the Russian Federation ' s deserved agricultural worker.
The honour of the " deserved agricultural worker of the Russian Federation " is assigned to highly professional agro-industrial workers, including peasant, farmers, research institutions, agricultural producers, mechanizers, mechanics, zootechnicians, agronomists, veterinary doctors, workers, engineering and researchers, for personal merit.
The commemorative medals of the Russian Federation, the awards established by the federal public authorities and other federal State bodies, the State authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, social and religious associations, are not State awards of the Russian Federation.
